May 27th, 2008: The End
It's true, the end. What do you say when there's no place you could ever hope to start at? You get the guy who has stuck with your band from the get-go to write a final blog for you.
In my life there was a time before bills and responsibilities where I was deep into astronomy.
Studying the stars is fascinating: methodically assembling complex stories from scant clues. Each star represents an entire life—from birth to dazzling brilliance to eventually, fading out…death. Above us every night these ghosts faithfully twinkle as we engage in friendships and entanglements. We never let the stars be more than they could be; all we let them be is the stars not signposts to something greater more mysterious.
The potential of the stars is not laden in their ability to glow during the darkest of nights but rather to what we will let them become. Either as symbols, inspirations, neon signs pointing back to God, perhaps a silent symphony. The potential to what we will graciously allow the stars to be—to become—remains completely untapped.
This is not something sam Hell has experienced. He believes through all the love, support, encouragement he has wholly tapped his potential. This is as far as he goes.
The list to thank and the reasons to thank friends, family, fans, well wishers, industry folks would certainly out number the stars.
While the journey has not always been easy, it has always been blessed and valued as necessary. For now it appears this is a short journey.
sam Hell cannot say if this is the end, end…after all how many times have you heard a rock band say that before reforming many years later?
For now though this is an end, happily a new birth awaits. The best stories move effortlessly through many chapters.
Through it all the stars watch and wonder silently recording it all.

April 6th, 2008: Two New Do's!

Besides that, sam Hell have got two new demonstrations to announce! First, this coming Sunday, April 13th sam Hell will finally release the beast in St. Catharine's, Ontario. Also, just announced is a show on May 15th at Toronto's newest rock club, Tattoo! sam Hell will be playing with The Joys, Dearly Beloved, and one more act TBA. Stay tuned...
March 21st, 2008: New Songs
You must lend your ear...or both ears. Your choice. Either way, re-direct yourself to sam Hell's Myspace to listen to three brand new songs that we have been working on with producers Ruben Huizenga and Byron Wong. You can hear them all live for the first time this Thursday, March 27th at the Rivoli in downtown Toronto, 10:00PM. Note: new songs are only for people who don't love bullshit.
March 12th, 2008: It's March 12th!?!

Regardless, sam Hell have decided to play the unthinkable set, and bring the Beatles to Hell this coming Friday night at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, Canada. Naturally, the band will play only the most difficuly numbers...I hope everyone is ready to get into our lives!
February 5th, 2008: The Eve of The Cockfight!
Place your bets, illegally or otherwise, on the cockfight taking place tomorrow night between sam Hell and several other bands at Jeff Healy's Roadhouse! January 14th, 2008: The Business Model Is Dead
It's true, and I'm not just trying to sensationalize you with headlines. Over the past few years there has been a lot of talk about the financial predicament of the music industry on many, but not all, levels. January 10th, 2007: Round 2, Fight!
It's official, sam Hell survived their first ever cockfight last night at Jeff Healy's Roadhouse in Toronto, and will be moving on the the second round of the Battala Rock Stars event. Thanks to all who came, especially all of the new fans! sam Hell will either play on Febraruy 6th or 13th for round 2 of the event, so stay tuned right here or at our Myspacefor all of the details. January 3, 2008: 2008 is Great!
Alright, that's enough of that whomever is writing those ridiculous headlines...
Hi! We're back, and it's only been three days...and only two of those counted anyways. As promised, new pictures are up on sam Hell's Myspace, but will soon be linkable via this website!!! Stay tuned for that announcement. We have new and exciting details about our upcoming shows, and on account of recording comittments and schedule conflicts there will be a few changes to the tour schedule for January and February. December 29th, 2007: Auld Lang Sam
Season's beatings to everyone! Just before we drown out the new year, we'd like to let you know that 2007 was one crazy ride for sam Hell. We can't believe that it's over already! In the first two weeks of January we will have new gigs posted, new pictures available from our website, and an announcement about a compilation CD that sam Hell will be appearing on. Keep your eyes wide open and don't be afraid to be dangerous!

November 9th, 2007: Hi-yah!
Thank you so much to all who came out to see sam Hell play on Tuesday night in Toronto. The show was amazing, as the band debuted 4 brand-new songs and made love to the crowd's ego. sam Hell has several upcoming shows in New York City and area to announce soon...so keep close, get low, and look for the update next week. November 5th, 2007: One More Sleep!

September 20th, 2007: What's Not New?
Great to "see" you again...man, this technology gets to us sometimes. sam Hell has finally received clearance to cross the American border, and that's just what he'll be doing on Friday, October 13th to play at the 6th annual M.E.A.N.Y. sam Hell's second Canadian single "Smile" was released to radio this morning! Hi! Sorry for the excitement, but we're very happy to announce it. As for everything else? New shows posted! New Myspace pics! New blogs! Above all, sam Hell plays 102.1 The Edge this Saturday night at 9:00PM. We can't sleep, and neither should you.
August 31st, 2007: Radio Ga-Ga
sam Hell is set to release their second single to rock and college radio this coming Tuesday, September 4th. The track is called "Smile" and it will soon be available in our site-wide media player. If you missed the street party on Sunday, you won't even believe us if we tell you what happened. The search for pictures and video footage is on, and when we've got it we'll simply post it for you to see. When you play in bars all the time you forget how much kids love music. August 7th: sam Hell Has Landed
Hi everyone! sam Hell has landed back at home base in Toronto. It's great to be "home", but when the road becomes your home you miss it a lot...plans are already underway for this fall! Hi everyone, sam Hell has returned to their own website! As you may or may not know sam Hell does a lot of their own legwork, and it turns out that being on tour is extremely time-consuming. All excuses aside, the very first Canadian tour is nearly over. Only five demonstrations remain as sam Hell blazes back across the country in only six days. June 27, 2007: Canadian Tour 2007
sam Hell is in Thunder Bay, Ontario at The Apollo tonight in support of their debut album and first single "You Don't Say"! 34 days, 19 shows (plus more to be announced), and nearly 13,000 km's will almost certainly bring sam Hell to a town near you. There exisits a daily tour diary courtesy of a guest journalist who was crazy enough to agree to tour with the band, as well as a daily video blog. They are both currently available at sam Hell's Myspace, and soon from this website as well. People in Thunder Bay used to say, "You can go to The Apollo to buy the evil." Not tonight...

June 6, 2007: Support Your Brothers and Sisters!
This Sunday, June 10th sam Hell is honored to play a very special demonstration at The Drake Hotel in Toronto. A fundraiser for The Romania Project , sam Hell will be performing two acoustic sets in support of this much needed organization. The evening will also feature singer and multi-instrumentalist Ali McGregor, a silent auction, great food, and a live DJ (they cancelled the dead one). May 30, 2007: sam Hell Demonstrates in the Nation's Capital:
